Quinta do Lago is a tourist resort with luxury facilities, golf courses and green landscapes located in the municipality of Loul\u00e9. It is considered one of the most luxurious in Europe and it also has a beach: Praia da Quinta do Lago.<\/p>

This is the westernmost limit of the Ria Formosa. Many of Quinta do Lago's visitors use the Ria Formosa for water sports, such as paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply for boating and enjoying nature, and the Ria Formosa is one of Quinta do Lago's great attractions.<\/p>

The main activity of the \"white bride of the sea\", as this town is known, is fishing, but tourism also stands out due to its Praia dos Tesos beach and its direct connection to the \"Ilha da Fuseta\".<\/p>

A land of fishermen, it still preserves many of its cubic-shaped houses, topped by terraces - the a\u00e7oteias - with the curious bal\u00e3 chimneys characteristic of this part of the Algarve.<\/p>
